Who I Thought I Had to Be (and What I’m Choosing Instead)
Somewhere along the way, I stopped asking myself what I want.
Not in the big, dramatic sense. I wasn’t spiraling or falling apart. From the outside, life looked pretty good. Productive. Stable. I was doing what I was supposed to do—what I was good at. Helping authors. Writing books. Supporting clients. Holding space. Navigating marriage. Motherhood. Healing. Creating something new with Unreachable.
But quietly… I was performing more than I was participating.
Performing clarity. Performing peace. Performing presence.
And I didn’t even realize it—because the performance was (somewhat) working. The mission was clear. The narrative clean. I had carved out a space in the world that made sense. And I was proud of it.
But then… I felt it.
An ache.
Not loud. Not urgent. Just a quiet thrum beneath my routines. A kind of muted grief. Not because anything was “wrong”—but because something essential was missing.
What I was craving was myself. The me beneath the doing.
So I stopped. Or more honestly, I slowed.
I started asking: What patterns, roles, masks, and expectations no longer feel like mine?
And: What would it feel like to write, live, and serve from a more rooted place instead of performing a role?
It’s wild what shows up when you make space. When you trust yourself. When you allow your body and intuition to guide you along the way.
I’ve been unlearning a lot lately. Not to become someone new—but to return to someone true. To recognize that freedom doesn’t come from finally checking the boxes. It comes from burning the list.
These days, I’m craving less. Quieter. Slower. Deeper.
I want to spend more time helping people remember who they are—not just guiding them to achieve what they think they need.
That’s what Unreachable is about. Not more doing. More knowing. More subtracting. More staying. Less proving. Less performing. Less measuring.
If you’ve been feeling the hum of that same ache… I want you to know: you’re not alone. Nothing is wrong with you. You’re just waking up.
This is why we created The Un.Reach.Able. Coaching Container. Not to “fix” you. But to walk beside you as you unhook from what’s draining you—and start reaching for what truly matters.
This week on the podcast, we’re talking about why talk therapy often isn’t enough—and what it actually takes to feel better. To feel different. To feel alive.

To ask better questions.
Like:
What do you want to become Unreachable to?
(Scarcity? Overgiving? Burnout? Tech addiction? The need to prove?)And what do you want to finally Reach for?
(Presence? Peace? Creative clarity? Rest? Sovereignty?)
You don’t have to have the answers. You just have to be willing to ask.
We’ll start there.
We’ll walk together.
