I feel calmer after reading and thinking about this. Walking the line between ambition and gratitude for what we already ARE is tricky sometimes.

I feel like such a fraud. I posted on Instagram today, lol. This need/hate relationship with social media is gonna make me crazy if I think about it any more. I DON'T go on there and scroll because I really don't like how that makes me feel (does that make me a social media narcissist?), but I do make some content for the machine (and for my career, supposedly) and that feels icky sometimes.

You are so not alone in feeling like that! I never "consume" on there. I post and log off, but even now, after taking months off of it, I find I don't WANT to be there. But what happens when you don't "nurture" that audience and remind them you're alive? Such a strange, odd thing, isn't it???
